It's good to get_along_with your teacher because it makes the time you spend in the classroom more pleasant.
It's also good to get along with your teacher because, in general, it's smart to learn how to relate to the different types of people you'll meet throughout your life.
In fact, kids who get along with their teachers not only learn more, but they're also more comfortable asking questions and getting extra help. This makes it easier to understand new materials and do the best on tests. When you have this kind of relationship with a teacher, he or she can be someone to turn to when you have problems, such as problems with learning, school issues, or bullying.
As a kid in elementary or middle school, you're at a wonderful stage in your life. You're like a sponge(海綿), able to take in lots of new and exciting information. On top of that, you're able to think about all this information in new ways. Remember teachers are people too, and they feel great if you're open to what they're teaching you. That's why they wanted to be teachers in the first place — to teach!
In every school, kids will say certain teachers are tough. In fact, in most cases, your teacher wants to help you. And a teacher who's called tough may be someone who feels strongly about getting his or her job done — teaching you what you are supposed to learn.

I had a lot of teachers that I loved. However, the teacher that I remember most was Mrs. Green from Marianna, Florida. She was my 5th grade teacher. Since I was a new student, not only in her class, but at the school, she made my time there much more pleasant. I immediately began to like her. She was really funny and I knew that she liked me. She made learning fun. I remember one day for Christmas holidays, she taught us how to make ornaments (裝飾物) from eggs. My parents still have some of the ornaments I made.
She made me leader for many group projects and that made me feel special. I think that would make any child feel special, especially when a child is in a new place with no friends. She made me want to be like that. Not to pick a “favorite” student, but to make every student feel that they are special. That year, I received the Presidential Academic Award (美國總統(tǒng)學術(shù)獎). I was really proud and so were my parents.
Looking back at it, I think the reason why I did so well was that I felt important. Students do better when they feel like they are important or loved. Mrs. Green always gets to know her students and forms personal relationships with them, which I will try to do some day. I just hope that there will be student who finds me to be their favorite teacher as I found her to be mine.

Miss Gorgers taught physics in a New York school. Her lesson was very popular among the students. On her class, the students never got tired. She even made some students change their feeling about science. She took the students to public science lectures, did experiments with excellent facilities and even told stories in her class, which were appealing to her students a lot.
She was also a very humorous teacher. Last month she explained to one of her classes about sound, and she decided to test them to see how successful she had been in her explanation. She said to them,“Now I have a brother in Los Angeles, which is thousands of miles away. If I was calling him on the phone and at the same time you were 75 feet away, listening to me from the street, which of you would hear what I said earlier,my brother or you and for what reason?”And then she looked at the class eagerly.
Tom at once answered, “Your brother hears your words earlier. Because electricity travels much faster than sound waves do.”“That's very good,” Miss Gorgers answered;but then one of the girls raised her hand, and Miss Gorgers said, “Yes? Kate.”
“I disagree. Your brother would hear you earlier, but the reason is not as Tom told. That's because when it's 11 o'clock here and it's only 8 o'clock in Los Angeles.” Kate said.
